Duty Manager

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful Duty Manager will support and manage the day-to-day operations of the Club. This will include managing staff, providing amazing customer service, ensuring the efficient operations of the entire Club, problem solving and maintaining a clean and tidy venue. The Duty Manager is also responsible for the safety and security of the venue as well as overall compliance, so attention to detail is paramount.

This is a key role in our business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the efficient operations of all aspects within the Club when on duty.
  • Managing staff on shift and dealing with performance related issues.
  • Prioritising customer related matters. 
  • Providing amazing service and mentoring a culture of going the extra mile.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy venue. 
  • Overall compliance and managing the safety and security of the venue.
  • Report writing for both shift related and legislative related items.

To be a successful part of this leadership team, you will have:

  • A positive attitude and professional manner.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. 
  • 3+ years of management experience in a similar venue.
  • Current holder of RSA, RCG and first aid.
  • Previous experience in Beverage, Gaming, TAB & Keno.
  • Understanding of the relevant legislations. 
  • Effective staff and performance management. 
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
