The cam is operational between 5am and 9pm (there's not much to see when its dark).

Here is a satellite image of the webcam's location. Bondi Beach is on Australia's East Coast in the City of Sydney. The beach is approximately twenty minutes drive from Circular Quay, home of the world famous Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
